My Dog's Story
Roxy was rescued from a home where she was neglected. When Roxy first joined our family she came in as our second dog. When we first brought her home she was a bit of a trouble maker with some separation anxiety issues.

The first time we put her in her crate we came home to a huge surprise, she was in a completely different room but still inside the crate. It took setting up a camera when we left to find out that our smart girl managed to rock the crate all through the house destroying anything in her path. We had to put weights on top of the crate just to keep her in the same room. Then followed by carabiners on the door to the crate because she figured out how to get out. She was our little escape artist. With some patience and love Roxy finally became comfortable with us leaving and hasn't been crated for years!! She roams free now while we are not home and anytime my husband or I come home she quickly runs to get a toy and then to greet us. She never greets us without bringing a toy!

She has changed so much since we got her she is now a laid back a girl who listens 98% of the time, the other 2% she is just being stubborn and will stare right at you while you ask her to do something, it's actually kind of funny. She enjoys car rides to go to work with us everyday, cuddling with her fur sister Maddy, getting her ears rubbed and overnight stays at Grandma & Grandpas when we go out of town. She has the most human personaity at times.

Though our journey of transitioning her into our home had some bumps I am so glad she came around, she is such a great dog and can't imagine our home without her!
