Friends of KC Animals (FoKCA) is a small, volunteer-run charity that responds to veterinary emergencies, offering compassion and assistance to homeless animals and struggling pet owners who have nowhere else to turn.
In addition, we advocate for humane policies, promote responsible pet ownership, reduce pet homelessness through funding spay/neuter surgeries, and support plant-based eating. FoKCA helps all animals, regardless of species, but works most often with domestic pets.
We are a 501c3 charity with a 2020 GuideStar Gold Seal of Transparency.
