Why there is "No Place Like Home"
Home is wherever you make it. Gummy has been with me for about 11 years or so. I adopted him at 6 months old after he was found wandering the streets of Los Angeles. Gummy has been through great times and challenging times with me. We are a good team and a constant source of love and support for each other. while completing my thesis for graduate school in Jan 2013 my duplex was sold and we lived in my car for several years because we could not find housing. We still took long walks several times a day, played ball and had meals together. He had two comfy beds on the passenger side and I got the drivers side. It didn't seem to matter to either of us that our dwelling had changed because we still had each other. We are grateful to now in a lovely senior housing apartment. For us, home is wherever we make it.
