Why there is "No Place Like Home"
These two OAS alums have been with me since 2014, 4 apartments and three moves. No place I live is complete until they and their things are moved in and in place (although, isn't it really ALL theirs?). Moving around so much has meant starting over in places where I don't know anyone. Often I've started a new job. But I come home and they are waiting at the door, the window, on the balcony; and as soon as I see them, a sense of joy fills me, my weariness goes away and my sanctuary is complete. My favorite thing both of them do is if I come home extra weary, as soon as I have my shoes off, I say, "Let's go take a nap!" They both immediately run and jump on the bed, Charlie with her doggie smile at my feet, and Mosey with her happy purrs as my little spoon. ❤
