Why there is "No Place Like Home"
Quinny is a big part of our family, and ever since we adopted her, she’s made herself right at home, disrupting our daily routine as cats do. When the sun is up, she’s up, and her loud demands for food mean that we’re up as well. When she’s satisfied, she will allow us the honor of becoming her pillow, and she will lay on our lap for hours. Sometimes, she will trail through the legs of any family members passing by in hopes of being offered treats, or perhaps just to trip us. She’s a joy to have around, and we always have fun watching her play with toys and running around with the zoomies. Though she is food motivated, she has a special intuition for her humans’ negative emotions, and will often make herself a place next to them, purring the sadness away when it comes. Though our family is often busy, Quinny’s presence gives us warmth and liveliness; she’s truly where our home and heart are.
