Your Pet's Bio/Story
Starbuck was dropped off after hours at the SPCA when she was less than 9 weeks old. She was flea ridden, had hook worm and was malnourished. By the time we met her, at 12 weeks, she was a healthy, spunky and a fluffy little love bug (thanks to staff and volunteers at Frances Willis). We couldn't guess what breed Starbuck was as a puppy. We did a DNA test that determined she's a German Shepherd/Amercian Bulldog Mix.
Gandalf was adopted at 14 weeks, from a local family who loved him dearly but personal circumstances forced them to let him go.

Fun Facts About Your Pet
Starbuck is named after characters from Moby Dick and Battlestar Gallactica. She actually watches TV on occasion, especially when horses and dogs are involved. If she hears or sees them, she jumps up, paces the tv and turns her head.
Gandalf likes to sit at the kitchen table like us humans. When we have company, he gets a kick out of stealing their chair when they get up to do something. He weighs about 80 lbs, but thinks he's a lap dog.
They both randomly lie on their backs until someone walks by to give them belly rubs.
