Pet's Story or Bio
Federico Rautins (Rico )is a polydactyl kitty! He has 5 toes on one back paw and 6 on the other! My husband was in the waiting room of Dr Latimer’s office when he heard the girls talking about Bigfoot going back to the rescue. Being nosey he ask to see this “Bigfoot” they were making such a fuss over.
He picked him up and they locked eyes. It was love at first sight! He sent pictures of him and txted me about the kitten we “just had to adapt.”
We renamed him Rico after Dr.Federico Latimer who volunteered his time to correct and rehab the birth defects that prevented him from walking. Rico is the most loving affectionate almost magical creature. We adore him and he loves his adapted family especially his Leonberger siblings! We are very grateful to have found our gorgeous green eyed baby boy with all the extra toes!!!
