Pet's Story or Bio
Sandy is an alumni of Furry Friends she was adopted by my friend Harold. He loved her with all his heart. He wanted to get a friend for his Sheltie. He saw her in the last cage down the isle. She was heart worm positive and had a litter of puppies but that didn’t matter. She was meant to be with him. She had to stay at Furry Friends because of the heart worms . Harold passed away with cancer on September 1, 2020. I took care of him because he was such a wonderful friend to me when my mom had Alzheimer’s. It was a very hard journey to travel. But Sandy was there by his side when he was sick. I have the honor now of having her as my own. And I will give her the most beautiful life I can. She is an extraordinary dog. Because she is an extension of Harold. I am grateful to have her in my life now. What a gift he left to me.
