Pet's Story or Bio
Dixon has been my best buddy his whole life, since he was a tiny boy. His mom and dad were part of a feral community in our neighborhood. Long story made short, he and his two sisters were brought to me by neighbors and I bottle fed them. When they were big enough I found homes for his sisters, Diva and Dahling. He lived here with my parrot (Kooka), my other three aging cats, my dogs Gizmo and Rocky. When Rocky passed away I needed a friend for lonely Gizmo the chihuahua so in comes an older gentleman, a Furry Friends rescue yorkie named Fred. Fred helped heal us all! We had Fred for six years and he was the best little boy, then he too passed. My heart was broken, I loved him so. They’re all gone now except Dixon and Kooka the African gray parrot. Dixon has been a healing joy through it all. He is so good natured but he’s still got that good old built-in cat mischief!
