Pet's Story or Bio
Athena is a chihuahua-dachshund mix that was rescued in 2014 from Animal Care Services with her litter mate, Ares.

Athena is such a great sister and takes care of her special needs brother the only way she knows, with lots of kisses and nap time cuddles. She's also a great little sister to her ACS-rescued, adopted big sister, Rewe (seen in the background). Even though Athena is a little chunk of a nugget, she's got enough spunk to play with big dogs.

Athena's favorite foods include carrots, bananas, and the pupcakes from Smallcakes Bakery.

Athena's favorite toy is the large rope toy made for dogs 5 times her size.

Athena's favorite game is "can I sneak into mom and dad's room to poop without anyone noticing." She used to be really good at it.

In addition to being a cutie, Athena is also a great listener. She's intuitive and ready to comfort anyone with her kisses and give anyone permission to rub her belly if it will make their day better.
