Pet's Story or Bio
In October 2009 I was between jobs and looking for something to do. I hadn't been living in Waco very long, but I heard about Fuzzy Friends, so I went out to look around.
As I walked through the room I noticed a dog wearing a post-surgery collar. As I approached, our eyes met, and I came under his spell. Those "Puppy dog eyes" told me everything I needed to know - I had to take this little boy home...and I felt that is what he was communicating to me too.
In the visitation room he immediately went under a chair in a corner of the room, so I got down on my hands and knees while talking to him, and in no time he came out from beneath the chair.
When I came back a couple of days later the collar had been removed. Three days later I took him to his forever home, and forever into my heart.
My "Little Buddy" is now about 13 years old. Every day I tell him "I love you" and I'm certain he understands me.
Going to Fuzzy Friends that day in October changed my life.
