Meet Frankie 🐾

After years of Kennedy asking (okay… begging 😅) for a dog, we finally decided it was time. Since neither of us had ever owned a dog before, we chose to foster-to-adopt through Gals Best Pals — it felt like the perfect way to ease into it.

Frankie was one of six puppies (originally named Cindy, from the Brady Bunch crew). Funny enough, we actually thought we were picking up her sister Jan… but thanks to a mix-up, Cindy came home with us instead.

And honestly? Best mix-up ever.

Within a couple of weeks, it was very clear she wasn’t going anywhere. We renamed her Frankie, and she officially became part of our family.

Next month marks one year of fostering (and very quickly adopting) our girl — and we truly can’t imagine life without her ❤️
