What activities do you enjoy doing together?
My Dad and me like to play tug of war with everything I can get my teeth around but mostly my toys - ha! I like when my Dad plays ball with me. He takes me to play with my buddy "Kenan" who is a friend/neighbor's dog. Kenan is huge 100+ pound Pitt bull who my dad absolutely love (not more than me of course) and he rubs Kenan's belly while I attempt to playfully terrorize and roughhouse with Kenan (a little hard as I weigh about 30 pounds but , you know, this girl has a lot of heart so I do what I do).

One of my favorite things to do is to wake my Dad up in the morning - my Mom generally walks me early in the morning and when I come through the back door, I make a serious Usain Bolt-like sprint at top speed to the bedroom, do one of those Olympic-style jumps from the bedroom door and land right square on my Dad's abs! I haven't had this much fun since they put Lassie in syndicated re-runs!

He generally ends up wrapping me up in the sheeting and we start the day wrestling each other :)

My Dad is sleep so I have to make this fast so he doesn't wake up :)

Many years ago when he was a small boy he had a bad situation happen where a dog attacked him. He was traumatized and had been afraid of them ever since...until I showed up:). To be certain, he was afraid of me too even though I was just a few days old when my mom adopted me from the shelter. He didn't come around me much and he was very apprehensive. I understood his reasoning however, I slowly worked on him and now he feels so comfortable with me that I sit in his lap and he goes to sleep with me sitting on him lol. I won the human over.

As you can tell by the photo, I'm not sleep but I help calm him and he seems to enjoy me just hanging with him so here I sit...waiting for him to get up and play some more tug-of-war (my absolute favorite activity with my Dad).

He helps my mom when she gives me a bath, he sometimes helps her brush my teeth and he gives me wipe downs when I get a little messy which, I honestly try to do from time to time. He sometimes go jogging together and when he works out at home, I make it my business to ensure I lick his face when he does his push ups and crunches which usually turns into a playful wrestling match between us.

You should vote for us because my Dad has come an extremely long way and while he has always loved animals he never quite felt comfortable being around dogs. I think that is a great feat on our part but I think I may have over-done this "I'm cute and adorable, look at me" thing with my Dad. Now he thinks he is "The Dog Whisperer" and speaks to every dog he sees! When we go to the pet store, it's like he like he thinks he's the Mayor from City Hall and attempts to speak to every dog in the store. Frankly, it's a little embarrassing but I digress.

We are a great family, we are a lot of fun and you should vote for us!
