This photo has been all over the Internets, so we thought we'd submit it for the calendar. Without Brigit, this calendar may not have happened.

Four years ago, Brigit led us to Georgia Jack Russell Rescue after she jumped out of the car window to retrieve a ball and went missing. We immediately contacted every shelter and rescue in Atlanta to alert them we were looking for her. Mama Donna was the only one who took a vested interest in our mission to bring her home.

Thanks to her tracking tips, we found Brigit within a week and vowed to volunteer and make a positive change on a local level with this rescue. Since then, our little group has grown by leaps and bounds and helped hundreds of JRTs in need.

Every day, we thank this girl a little more for her "selfless" act ...
