This is Thor a Xmas save from penny Parker Horse Angels out of Pa -Thor is a 11 year old Morgan - he was a Amish throw away destined for the meat truck the morning we saved him- Minutes away from loading - This poor guy had road founder, 11 degree rotation a abscess through the coronary band of his right front hoof- along with rain rot and was in sever pain, could barely walk- my husband and I saw his kind eyes and loving personality and chose to save his life even though many told us to put him down .. he went to quarantine at horse angels for 6 weeks , while there had his vet checks , testings, and updated shots , had the farrier out to do a much needed trim take his road shoes off and do a resection and realignment to try and save him from the damage others had done to him
Once well enough he was transported home in February to us in Vt where he has had some set backs but many many thriving happy days - he is now apart of our herd and is just starting to do small rides - he loves kids, attention, brushings, bathes, his herd mates, horse camping , and has a sweet sense of humor. He has a kind soul , great calm ground manners . He loves dads beer lol!
