A little about me...
Blanca is my 4th basset and by far the most stubborn of all of them. She like to walk, but where she wants to. If no, she will walk slowly until she stops her protest. If she sees a person coming, she will sit or lay down until they come, hoping they will pet her. She loves to be outside, and when I ask her to come in, she will just sit there. I can call until I am blue in the face. I then go inside and within a minuet she is at the door to come in. Her other habit is dragging me down the block when she sees the mailman, as he always has a treat for her. It is amazing how fast she can go. She has her own bedroom and bed, which I share as my wife said no more dogs on the bed. So I along with her have been banished to a separate room. She is much loved and is a daily joy, even at times she can be exasperating.
