Sir Pickles: My dog-cat

Pet's Story or Bio
I had seen a homeless couple in Chicago repeatedly in the park with a cat carrier in 2008. When I first approached them they opened the carrier and one of the kittens (Pickles) BOUNDED onto me. The couple could barely take care of themselves. Mama kitty and five 4-week-old kittens needed care. I eventually paid them $100 for the cat family. I knew I wanted to keep one and the decision was clear – it would be Pickles. He wasn’t the cutest or most unique but he knew what he wanted and it was me. (Bonus, I found very good homes for all the other animals). Pickles leads a very charmed life with LOTS of love, care and attention. He is always by my side, comes when he's called (like a dog) and loves me to pick him up. I love my Pickles!
