Dancing in the Snow
Jack lived fully and joyfully (white lab mix). He's reveling here, at age 14, in a Dance in the Snow with his housemate, Jade (age 3, black lab ).

Our rescued companions:
Jack ... was rescued. by my niece from a dirty city alley. He'd been thrown away, a pitiful starving, tick laden sick little baby. Enter love, care and a forever family, where he grew strong and so beautiful. Super intelligent with impeccable manners, Jack was pack leader, and was The best teacher to his many companion rescue buddies.

Jack passed peacefully last summer at age 15, loved ones by his side. We so miss this blessed companion. My dearest friend, he will forever remain in our hearts.

Jade ... in her first year was bullied, starving, and dying on a ranch amidst a large pack of aggressive dogs. Once again, my niece stepped up to the rescue. Jade's 4 years old now and thriving. She's very bright, a true water dog, excellent retriever, and gentle, well behaved companion. Her heart is pure gold.

And Jade loved old Jack, and he her. She comforted Jack (and us) during his last years, and helped ease our hearts with new love as we mourned the passing of an old, very dear one.
