Pet's Story or Bio
The loss of a pet is incredibly hard to go through. I lost my first kitten and had an incredibly hard time getting over it. I finally decided to try cat ownership again and headed to my local shelter. I was worried I would be too upset once I saw the cats, but I managed to make the trip. The shelter worker told me I would fall in love with Nuzzle, and she was sure right. The minute the door opened on her cage, Nuzzle was wrapped under my chin nuzzling me and putting her paws on my shoulders, almost like she was giving me a hug and trying to tell me it would be ok. I adopted her on the spot and took her home that day. That night, a friend was over and captured one of my all-time favorite photographs. I had fallen asleep, and Nuzzle curled up right next to me, her forehead on my forehead and her arms stretched out towards mine. We were meant to be, and I'm happy Nuzzle found her forever home and I found comfort in such a loving animal.
