Waiting for my human to return

Pet's Story or Bio
Sophie "Blue" got her GHHS name because of her brilliant eyes. She liked to huddle herself away from the kittens in the shelter, so the staff brought her out to the office. At first, she hid under furniture and behind closet doors until she got used to the doorbell and the irregular rhythm of footsteps throughout the day. Then she was ready to meet and greet whoever she thought might play with her.

And one human in particular kept coming to visit.

Then one day that human took her home. Her fright at the change lasted less than a day.

She prefers a simple piece of string to chase. She turns circles, takes giant leaps, and curls her long silver self around whatever obstacle she's decided to play near. If her humans are late to rise for her morning play, she tears through the house, making the racket of at least three animals on the hardwood floor in the hallway most central to the human sleeping quarters. And if it's not too hot or humid outside, she will, with accompaniment, find fun that moves on its own four legs in the yard behind the house. She hasn't seen a chipmunk in months (they are much too afraid of this sudden beast who's arrived), but a family of rabbits lets her play hide-and-go-seek with them under the azaleas.

When her human is home, she will trot up and then bound away, showing her human that it's time once again, to play.
