I’d started volunteering at Huntsville Animal Services about one week when I saw “Posie” cowering in the corner of her kennel. She was the first to break and melt my heart. We renamed her Chaka because of her beautiful chocolate brown coat. She’s been with us 2 years now and is no longer the pitiful pittie, but a happy, loving pet.
