Pet's Story or Bio
Donut was found at the Dunkin Donuts near the Athens-Limestone Animal Shelter, which is where we got her from. She was SUPPOSED to be our very first foster dog, as we had grand plans of saving many lives once we moved to Alabama. But we pretty much knew after about three days that we were going to fail right out of the chute. This dog has so much personality that we just could not let her go. We felt horrible as that was not the plan at all but she captured our hearts and the hearts of so many of my friends that have never even met her. Our long term goal is to start a rescue of our own in a few years with Donut as the face of it. We want to concentrate on the seniors and other animals that might not be somebody's first choice. They all deserve a chance at love and a home of their own.
