GHHS is a 501©3 no-kill animal shelter that seeks to use training adoption, education and advocacy to ensure the humane treatment and welfare of all animals.  GHHS was established 49 years ago and operates with a small staff under a governing Board of Directors.

In 2017, GHHS adopted 740 animals, saved 41 pets in our foster homes, donated $25,000+ in financial aid for emergency vet care, and provided over 35,000 pounds of pet food for needy families. We greatly appreciate any support you can give to help us forward our mission.
