Pet's Story or Bio
Miss Pearl, a 7 1/2 -year old Wheaten Terrier, began living in both Huntsville and Orlando when she was 12 weeks old, accompanying her Mom to Huntsville every other month or so to support her Mom's job for a local defense contractor.
Pearl is an avid supporter of GHHS. She was a VID at the 2010 Dog Ball, and sponsors a table at the Dog Ball every year. She is also an active supporter of Challenger House, FOR, A New Leash on Life, and SNAP -- as well as animal rescue and support organizations in her hometown of Orlando, She eagerly participates in Tennessee Valley walks for Bark for Life and the Morris Foundation -- if it's not too warm!
Pearl loves the Dog Days of Winter, the HOTC Dog Fair, Big Spring Park anytime, the SNAP and ANLoL thrift stores, the railroad tracks by the downtown dog park, and all the great people at Whitesburg Animal Hospital.
Pearl has made many canine and human friends in Huntsville, and believes that Huntsville will always be a dear home for her.
