Welcome to the Greater Huntsville Humane Society's 2020 Picture Purrfect Pet Photo Contest! The contest is a meaningful way to celebrate your pet while supporting GHHS. 100% of the proceeds will be used to help our pets in need. Show off your adorable pet while helping the shelter pets awaiting their forever homes at GHHS. Don't forget to encourage your friends and family to vote for your pet's photo. The top photos with the most votes will receive great prizes! And, with our Judge's Choice categories, every entry has a chance to win!

Your beloved pet will be part of a specially arranged mini photoshoot where the pet will be featured on the CALENDAR COVER of the GHHS 2021 calendar. 2nd Through 13th Place Prizes (12 Winners):

2nd through 13th photos with the most votes will have their pet be featured as the main photo in one month of the calendar.
Reserve a Day to Honor Your Pet
Just want a guaranteed spot in the calendar? Reserve a day to honor your pet. This can be for your pet's adoption anniversary, birthday, loved one's birthday, memorial or really any special day! Your pet's photo will appear on the day of your choice. Just choose your favorite photo and then choose the day and pay! First come first served! Once a date has been reserved, it will no longer be available.

GHHS is a 501©3 no-kill animal shelter dedicated to using rescue, training, adoption, education and advocacy to ensure the humane treatment and welfare of all animals. GHHS was established 50 years ago and operates with a small staff under a governing Board of Directors.
In 2019 GHHS adopted 707 animals, saved over 50 pets in our foster homes, donated $25,000+ in financial aid for emergency vet care, and provided over 35,000 pounds of pet food for needy families. We greatly appreciate any support you can give to help us forward our mission.
