This beautiful soul came to Gifford is very rough shape. He was found in a dumpster down South, was super skinny, sickly and was listed as "hospice" when he arrived at Gifford. I had the privilege of fostering him and he stole my heart. This is the most tender, loving and accepting boy I have ever met. After a full recovery (YEAH!) he went back to Gifford as the "Ambassador" in the Charm School Room and helped with the socialization of the sweet souls in there. He was key in getting one of the 6 year resident's Whitman adopted into a loving home. Black Jack is now adopted into his forever home by an amazing couple. I will forever be grateful for having had the experience to be in the presence of this beautiful soul. For him, Gifford saved his life and he lit up our hearts with love.
