Fifi had a very long road to her forever home. After spending several years as a street kitty, she was trapped and taken to live outside in Gifford's feral colony. Several years later she was moved inside to live in the Feline Charm School, where very dedicated volunteers worked to socialize her. Fifi was very scared, and it took a long time for her to trust people. I knew right away that there was something special about Fifi. Last May, after a year of slowly gaining her trust, I decided to foster Fifi. She lived under my couch for 3 months, but slowly began to come out to explore. Now 11 months later, she is a confident, happy girl. I'm so thankful for everyone at Gifford, for all the hard work that went into socializing Fifi. Thank you for never giving up on her. She is the sweetest cat ever!
