Please give a brief story about your pet – was it a rescue, hard-luck story, special needs, etc
Skittle and KitKat are both rescues kitties! I found Skittle (orange/white tabby) on Craigslist; his owners had to give him up because their daughter was becoming allergic. I found KitKat (calico) through the Great Divide Animal Rescue. She was driven up in an eighteen wheeler all the way from down South! Though I adopted these two at different times and their ages are slightly different, they quickly warmed to each other and spend most of their time running through the house playing chase or snuggling by a sunny window. It's such a loving bond. I feel so grateful to be able to give them a full and happy life!
