Please give a brief story about your pet – was it a rescue, hard-luck story, special needs, etc
I adopted O'Malley in August, 2015 from the Gifford Shelter. I"ve always had cats as a adult, and O'Malley is my 4th. When I first saw this handsome lad at the shelter, I was told a volunteer brought him to the Gifford Shelter from Rosie's Place, where he'd been hanging out by the kitchen, looking for dinner! That was in December 2018, and he stayed at Gifford for 9 months! No one wanted him. But, I guess he decided I was the one, because he came out from under this bench and it was love at first sight! I'm 74 years old, and his company during the pandemic was indeed a blessing!
