Please give a brief story about your pet – was it a rescue, hard-luck story, special needs, etc
We adopted 2-year-old Beans from the Gifford in June 2021 as a pal for our older cat Gyoza. Beans was from the streets of Florida and just wanted to find a best friend. However, Gyoza had no interest in Beans's desire to play rough and tumble. After many failed attempts to get them to be friends, we decided to get Beans his very own bff and wrestling partner - 10-month-old orange kitten Nino, also from the Gifford! Beans and Nino are now besties and spend every moment together, playing and grooming. Gyoza even likes Nino, too, and they birdwatch at the window together. Nino is a friend to all!
