It took 6 months During covid to find a dog.I am allergic to cats but a supporter of the Gifford Cat Shelter. Isolation is tough for older folks. Covid didn't make it easier. I would talk to people on the street walking their dogs and yearn for a dog. Sadie the Schnauzer was shipped in a crate which took 3 days from Arkansas with 100 other dogs. Her people gave her up because she would bite. If we hadn't taken her, she would have been put down. We didn't save her life. She saved ours. Best watch dog, great companion. Really cute. Just doesn't like squirrels. We have been blessed. It took work and time and she has been our blessing. I will always be a strong supporter of Ellen Gifford Cat Shelter, who also aren't willing to give up on saving cats. The best. Thank you for all you do. You are in my will.
