Please give a brief story about your pet – was it a rescue, hard-luck story, special needs, etc
I adopted Woody from Gifford in 2018. He had recently been relocated from a shelter in South Florida. When I went to go see him for the first time he was living in the communal cat room and was sitting on a shelf in an open closet. He was a strikingly handsome ginger with the most symmetrical markings and he had the loudest purr I’d ever heard. But what really got my attention was when he stretched out his paw and put it on my hand as if to tell me that he was choosing me to be his mom… And the rest is history!
