Please give a brief story about your pet – was it a rescue, hard-luck story, special needs, etc
I adopted Iris from Gifford in 2019 when she was a kitten. She was very timid when we first met her, but her sweet, loving temperament has always shown through. When she first came home, she hid under beds and was easily spooked, but once she got more comfortable, she blossomed into a confident, playful and amazingly communicative cat! She appreciates quiet and calm environments and shows us her trust by sharing her beautiful personality with us. She even has full conversations with her humans responding differently depending on our tone! It's been incredible to see her come out her shell and live her best life. She always finds the sun spot to lay in and has brought so much joy into our lives. Iris is adored by all she meets!
