Please give a brief story about your pet – was it a rescue, hard-luck story, special needs, etc
Petey was rescued from the streets of Waltham. Petey, who has sparkling white fur and a brown Zorro mask, came to us covered in automotive oil and big ticks. He arrived, a small hungry kitten, the very day our big black cat Sabrina died. And he was drawn to the cat furniture she loved, the one next to my laptop where I spent all day teaching remotely during lockdown. Petey did not replace Sabrina -- he took up her post and made those days less lonely.
