Please give a brief story about your pet – was it a rescue, hard-luck story, special needs, etc
Jewels was surrendered to a shelter in North Carolina. I had recently lost my beloved Tortoiseshell cat Eloise from feline leukemia . My rescue network contact person offered to help me find a cat in need. Jewels was arriving in Massachusetts within days. She has been living with me since March of 2021 she will celebrate her 2nd birthday on April 10th. She loves to be pet and rewards me with her purrs. Really I should be purring from the touch of her silky fur.
