Please give a brief story about your pet – was it a rescue, hard-luck story, special needs, etc
Morty is one tough little tank! She was picked up by Philadelphia Animal Control and found herself with multiple euthanasia dates, each one thankfully delayed. She was struggling with everything under the sun-- entropion, muscle wasting, rotting gums, severe fluid in her ears, and more, but thanks to Project Meow and an amazing foster, she's here in Boston today, living her best life. She takes her breakfast on her cat tree and spends her morning on Neighborhood
Watch, taking naps and breaks to wrestle with her catnip fruits. And then she'll wander by her human to sit up straight, stamp her foot, and demand. She's still dealing with myriad issues, most recently cancer on her nose, but she's been a sassy, lovey trooper through it all (a shout-out, of course, to the outstanding Angell folks, especially in dermatology!).
