Mika & Ruby

Please give a brief story about your pet – was it a rescue, hard-luck story, special needs, etc
Mika (cat) is a Gifford rescue who immediately found her best friend in Ruby (dog) from the moment they met. 2 months ago, we sadly lost Ruby, and Mika has been trying to adjust to life without her best friend. The amount of love that each of them had for each other was wonderful, and genuine. Mika loved to groom and cuddle with Ruby, and Ruby loved to protect Mika when she got in trouble for being on the counters. They were an epic duo, and we miss their snuggles, playfulness, and love for each other everyday.
