Rocco & Figgy

Please give a brief story about your pet – was it a rescue, hard-luck story, special needs, etc
Rocco (Rocky) was adopted from Gifford at 7 months old. He had been living in a shelter in NY most of his life. He was very shy and for some reason didn't show well. One look in those green eyes peering out from his hiding spot and I knew he was the one! Rocco is still very shy, but has a very big personality! He keeps us laughing.
Figaro aka Figgy (Cass) was rescued from ARL after he was saved from a bad hoarding situation, and brought to Gifford. Figgy was very undersocialized, but very motivated by treats and play in Pawsibilities. He was adopted shortly before the pandemic, and lockdown was just what he needed to thrive. Figgy is the most affectionate cat and loves to be held like a baby.
Rocco & Figgy are best buds and always seeking out mischief together. They bring so much love, laughter and chaos into my life! Never pass by the shy, scared, old, or special needs pets, they have a lot of love to give, and are worth the extra effort. Thanks to Gifford to providing them such loving care until they found their forever home.
