Please give a brief story about your pet – was it a rescue, hard-luck story, special needs, etc
Moon was brought up in Florida in a hoarding situation with several brothers and sisters. He was rescued from euthanization by a foster parent and brought up to Gifford to find a forever home. Moon has a vibrant and attentive personality, greeting every guest and contributing to every conversation. We like to say that he is a bonded pair with his dad, Kevin. Moon finds his lap and falls asleep in record time, follows him around the house, and gives him several hugs a day.

Moon is not only sweet, but very resilient. Last year, he underwent a major surgery to resolve a bowel obstruction. Even when he was sick and in pain, he never stopped showing us love. He has since made a full recovery, and is stronger and happier than ever. These days Moon is back to his energetic and talkative self. He loves to leap onto the kitchen table and watch us cook, which is when we captured the attached image. Just one of many moments each day when his companionship fills our lives with joy.
