Penelope (Lagartha at Gifford) was found with her brother in a shed when she was very young. She lived in a house for several years until she was surrendered to Gifford, where she lived for about a year before adoption. At Gifford she was a quiet observer of humans and fellow felines, and she is still a cautious sweet girl who usually needs to be coaxed out of her favorite spot under the futon. But once she's out, does she ever love treats and stroking with her favorite blue duster! At night she can be heard chasing her catnip mice with wild abandon. And who knew--she has the loudest purr ever!
