Please give a brief story about your pet – was it a rescue, hard-luck story, special needs, etc
WAZZUP?! I'm Balboa (formerly George Michael of the Gifford Cat Shelter). My mom rescued me 4 years ago when I was matted and shaved from being a stray, and she had no idea how handsome I'd become once I grew my hair back out. I'm a big boy, I'm a lazy boy, and I'm a fluffy boy. I recently celebrated my 4 year adoption date (hence the party hat) and this photo captures my the candid and raw moment of me realizing I'm getting older-- who can relate?! Am I right ladies?! Anyway, if you don't vote for me that's okay (you're just wrong), all I care about is my former home (Gifford) getting the funds and attention and love it deserves!!!!!! Despite my ~rough~ start in life and my IBS & herpes, I am a happy health ham who is codependent on my mother (but that's okay because we both have separation anxiety from each other).
