Please give a brief story about your pet – was it a rescue, hard-luck story, special needs, etc
Nikki joined our family in July of 2020. The pandemic had set in and there were very few animals available for adaption at that time. We found her at the Animal Rescue League in Boston--she was one of two cats there. She had been rescued in January of 2020, found with a group of feral cats, and was wearing a collar that had become imbedded under her right armpit. Unfortunately, the collar didn't contain any information about her prior owner. After several surgeries and foster care, she became available for adaption. We brought her home and she has been ruling the house ever since. She is the best!
