Please give a brief story about your pet – was it a rescue, hard-luck story, special needs, etc
Lucy was found under an abandoned house in Mississippi in 2023 around the age of 6. She was fostered by Sweet Paws Rescue and, as luck would have it, my husband and I had just become approved adopters with them when she became ready for her next chapter. She was our first match and it was love at first sight. Between the omnipresent tongue “blep” and the expressive ears, Lucy is the definition of cute. She is a gentle soul (except towards pesky squirrels) and is beloved in her East Boston neighborhood where she has thrived since we adopted her. As she slows down and gets whiter in the face, we are making sure that she has no shortage of soft blankies, long walkies, and a healthy amount of treats (in spite of every neighbor carrying some to share with her!). Her history is our mystery, so we are doing our best to make the present and future the best it can be for our Lucy Goosey!
