We rescued Chief when he was 7 years old. His older parents were in the hospital and didn't have family that could take care of him. He stood at the door and whined the entire first night. Waiting for them to come and get him. He settled in quickly. He truly rescued me. I had lost my first weim just a few months earlier to cancer. Chief was a silly boy who loved his ball and never wanted us out of his sight. A true velcro dog. He passed away a year ago from cancer. I miss him like crazy.
