Your Pet's Bio or Adoption Story
Stefania Joy is just over 2 lbs but she is Joie de Vivre in big lights! This picture was taken in the middle of her photo shoot. She got sleepy and fell asleep in the flower! There were many great shots but this one made our hearts sing....

She was found by a Good Samaritan who saw some little boys mistreating them in the street. The fabulous Aurora Jay-Medina posted a pic of "Eddi" her shelter name - and another little kitty on her FB page. Since we are FB friends I saw her pic and just about jumped out of my seat. We knew right away this was our Stefania!

This precious kitty is named after a beautiful Italian woman on our all time fav show Everybody Loves Raymond. My husband I kept looking to adopt our Stefania but no kitty ever fit the bill so we waited and then along came Eddi!!!

Stefania Joy has embraced the kitty "burrito" bed I purchased two kitties back but didn't want it. I know that bed was meant for her. She still spends her nap time in the 8-sided soft playpen we lovingly refer to as the "Pink Palace."

She sleeps on our schedule as well but often very early in the morning we will hear her playing with the ball tower which is balls rolling on a three tiered orange tower. It makes us so happy that she is happy and content in her surroundings.

We plan to introduce her to the kitty carriage with her brother black Persian kitty rescue Mogli Balboa. She will go along with us when we walk our 3 year old rescue mix dog Isabella Lucia on long walks.

We have a little bell which hangs in a ribbon on the French door leading to the lanai. There is no doubt she will learn to ring it like the rest of the kitties when she wants to sun herself or look at birds.

Stefania Joy is the apple of her Poppy's eye. They can be found a hundred times a day playing with swaying palm fronds in the back yard or enjoying the Cat Dancer and big stuffed catnip banana from Mama Pat (sibling Basti from Good Karma's Foster Mom ).

Stefania Joy has already won the best and loudest purr contest in the house and on her own puts her teeny tiny paw on your mouth when you go to kiss her. These are the things we never did teach her and these are two of the traits our kitty Angelina who recently passed had. Our Himalayan Angelina was the first purr my husband and I had ever heard and she was the very first cat we had ever owned. She had a loud purr! She was a rescue and recently passed naturally at 19 years.

We adopted Stefania Joy before Angelina passed and when we put Angelina next to Stefania Joy for the first time, Stefania stretched out full length on her belly and reached out to touch Angelina. There was a calmness that came over all of us and a passing of the torch in some sense. We knew then how special and right this furbaby was for us and our furry family. And this fact was confirmed as Angelina peacefully passed naturally the night she met Stefania Joy face to face for the very first time.

Stefania Joy is helping our hearts heal and she makes us so happy looking into her blue sapphire eyes and heart shaped face.

She has Siamese in her and her two back paws have a bit of bright white on them. I like to say she was having a French pedicure done and then had to leave for an appointment and didn't get to get all the toes painted!

She eats ravenously every time we feed her and she loves to taste a bit out of every kitties bowl.

Our dog Isabella Lucia thinks she is a squirrel or a mouse maybe so there's will be much training before she is free roaming in general population. She keeps involved here in our great room though and we laugh a lot cause she sounds like a baby bird when she wants attention.

Her tail is already held aloft in a question mark and she does chase her tail quite often. We are trying to teach her to let us hold her on her back in our arms like a baby - love that! She fights us to not lay on her back but we are grateful to have her so young so we have time to teach her many things.

We are learning to do some clicker training. We just learned recently that training with clickers is not just for dogs!

We are looking forward to forever with Stefania Joy. She came to us at the purrfect time. She completes our fur family and we would not want to do life without her. Thank you Good Karma!
