Your Pet's Bio or Adoption Story
Growing up, my family always adopted a rescue dog and we were blessed to have two really great pets. When I moved out on my own, I wanted the perfect dog for me and I finally found him! It all started when I asked my boss if the office could have a dog to boost employee morale. Much to my surprise, he agreed and so the search began. I was introduced to Good Karma from one of your volunteers. He began by showing me puppies, but I knew I wanted an older dog that needed a good home. I went on Good Karma's website, saw Jax and I knew he was the one. It was in his eyes! I immediately filled out an application and scheduled a home visit. When the foster mom asked me if I just wanted to do the home visit or the whole adoption, without hesitation I told her I would be ready to adopt him that day! The minute we met, it was love at first sight and knew I had made the right decision, which was further reinforced by the foster mom's comment that Jax took to me quicker than he had anyone else. Jax came from an abusive home where he had to suffer for three years. He is now in his forever home and surrounded by love all day long!!

I adopted Jax on a Sunday and brought him to work with me that Monday and every day since. Even though I have only had him a month now, I feel like I have had him forever!! Not only does he make my day better, but he brings joy to my co-workers. The company I work for is a subcontracting company in the Glass & Glazing division, which is why I chose the Safety Vest and Safety Goggles for his picture. Also, June is Safety Awareness Month where he will be featured in our calendar and hopefully Good Karma
