Your Pet's Bio or Adoption Story
I saw a litter of puppies on Facebook about a month after losing my 15 year old Jack Russell Terrier to kidney failure. I wasn't sure if I was ready, but those little faces sure tugged at my heart strings! I started sending emails and texts to try to find out how to meet them and finally the got the chance! We loved on all of them for a little while before going back to the little girl in the corner. Bailey, formerly Marilyn Monroe, was the smallest and squishiest of them all! We didn't know which one to pick at first, but when I held her up in front of me and asked her "Do you wanna go home to my house with me?!" she went crazy!! She started licking my face and pawing at my neck and biting my hair and whining and wagging her whole body! She picked me!! We picked her up from Genesis 3 days later and we've been in love every day since. She healed our hearts and has brought more love, laughter and joy into our homexthan we ever thought possible!
