Robert (then Ricky) was on the Euthanasia list in Broward County and no one wanted him. He was terrified from all the new sounds and animals around him and depressed at losing his home/family. He was deemed unadoptable.

With the help of Good Karma, we were able to pull him when he was literally on the table to be put down. Two months later he was finally able to come live with our family in Maryland. He has some trust issues and is prone to lash out when scared (like the time he got a toy stuck to his claw and couldn't get it off. He can't retract his claws and so he now wears SoftPaws to prevent him from getting stuck to things constantly), but he is also the snuggliest, most affection cat I've ever known, content to sit on your lap for hours.

He's a good boy who has had a hard life and is just now learning how to trust and love humans.
