Your Pet's Bio or Adoption StoryKiba (previously Mary Sol) was rescued by Good Karma after being found in a cardboard box with injuries from being hit by a car. With the help of an amazing foster mom she healed without requiring surgery and was put up for adoption. My husband and I had been wanting to adopt a senior chihuahua for quite some time. After another dog we were interested in was unavailable, we saw Kiba on the website and knew right away that she belonged with us. We filled out an application and did a meet and greet and home visit with Kiba and our other chihuahua, Daphne. It was happy tails right from the start from both of our girls. Their demeanor is so similar and they get along so well. Kiba is the happiest little girl and is always so excited to meet everyone. We named her Kiba, which means fangs in Japanese, because of her adorable underbite. Kiba and Daphne sleep in the bed with us every night, snuggled up to us. Kiba is definitely the earlier riser in the morning and can be found sitting up, tail wagging, while Daphne is still off in dream land and not wanting to get out of bed. Even though we haven't had Kiba very long, we can't imagine life without her. She makes our hearts so happy and we are so grateful that we get to give her a happy life.
