Oliver (formerly known as Dill) had big shoes to fill from the moment our family decided to get another cat. Our previous cat, KC, lived with us for 20 years and made a dog family love a cat more than they ever thought possible. So, going to adopt a new cat became a daunting prospect. When we saw Oliver for the first time we were immediately drawn to his markings, calm demeanor and innate curiosity. The minute we put him in the carrier to take him home, he seemed to accept that one chapter was ending, and another was on the horizon. On the drive home he began purring, and he had no hesitation in getting out to explore his new room and the humans within. We discovered very quickly that he was the most talkative cat any of us had interacted with, and that each meow signified his varying moods. As he fit seamlessly into our family, he began establishing his routines and activities he enjoys, with more personality than one would think possible for such a little baby boy. Some of his more peculiar interests are sitting guard at our window for bugs, playing with ice cubes, watching movies, and trying to get our dog to snuggle with him. We love him more than words can describe and truly believe we are owners of the cutest kitten!
